Job summary

LHH is seeking an Accounts Receivable/Senior Billing Specialist in Nashville. You will monitor accounts, invoice clients, and review past due balances to keep accounts healthy. The role supports billing and collections across multiple states with strong Excel skills required.

Preferred candidates have 3+ years in transactional accounting, a finance/accounting degree, and experience with VLOOKUP/Pivot. Salary offered ranges from $65,000 to $85,000 per year, with office located off West End.

Accounts Receivable/Senior Billing Specialist

As a Senior Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring the status of accounts, invoice clients and review past due balances. This position ensures that client billing and collections are processed timely and accurately to keep accounts in a healthy status.

Responsibilities Include:

• Analyze hourly and weekly invoicing for clients across multiple states
• Research account variances and take efforts (Calls/Emails) to bring them current
• Assist clients with billing inquiries and payment options
• Run ageing report to determine which accounts need follow up for outstanding payment
• Reconcile accounts across vendor transactions
• Update billing information and customer payment history

Preferred:

• Legal/engineering industry is preferred (back-office support) - non healthcare
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience working within transactional accounting focused on receivables/billing/cash application/collections
• Bachelor’s degree preferred w/ accounting/finance concentration
• Excel- Advanced proficiency (X/VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, etc.)

Salary $65-85,000/yr
