Job summary

Contact Government Services (CGS) is seeking a Senior Billing Specialist to join our Financial department in a full-time capacity. The role oversees the e-billing and payment cycle workflow, including posting payments, charge corrections, and monthly reconciliations for the firm’s offices.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance with at least five years in billing/receivables, including advanced e-billing experience and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Manages e-billing requirements and processes.
• Prepares monthly, semi-monthly and ad-hoc billing reports.
• Ensures timely invoice submission per established timelines.
• Creates and distributes ad hoc operational and billing reports to management.
• Works with Controller to identify, review and improve billing timeliness and accuracy.
• Supports internal and external auditors as requested.
• Supervises e-billing and receivables staff.
• Evaluates staff skills and recommends training or changes.
• Provides feedback on staff performance and participates in hiring decisions.
• Delegates assignments and projects to staff as appropriate.
