Job summary

Contact Government Services (CGS) is seeking a Senior Billing Specialist to join our Financial team in Baltimore. You will manage e-billing and payment-cycle workflows, ensure timely posting, and drive accuracy across monthly reconciliations and client invoicing.

You will supervise staff, coordinate with the Controller and Accounting, and support audits and process improvements to enhance efficiency while maintaining highest standards of compliance.

Qualifications

• Five years of legal billing/receivables experience and knowledge of accounting principles.
• Two years of supervisory experience in a similar role.
• Advanced experience with e-billing.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Access).

Responsibilities

• Owns e-billing and payment-cycle workflow, including posting and charge corrections.
• Reconciles monthly payments to bank deposits for offices.
• Prepares monthly, semi-monthly and ad-hoc billing reports for clients.
• Supports internal/external auditors as needed.
• Supervises e-billing and receivables staff and conducts performance evaluations.
• Identifies opportunities to automate or improve billing processes.
• Delegates assignments and manages projects for staff.
