Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Seattle seeks an AWS Billing Operations Senior Analyst to manage complex billing processes, interpret contractual terms, and drive timely customer invoicing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, CS, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in operations, finance, billing, or business analysis.
• Experience interpreting complex contractual requirements.
• Experience analyzing large datasets with SQL and Excel.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
• Experience defining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Interpret complex pricing agreements and translate terms into billing requirements and processes.
• Own recurring billing activities and ensure accurate, timely execution of commitments.
• Use SQL, Excel, BI, and AI-enabled tools to analyze data and improve accuracy.
• Investigate billing issues and drive cross-functional resolution with Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Sales, and Support.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and standardize operational processes and controls.
• Perform billing reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Develop reporting that improves visibility into billing accuracy and risk.
• Mentor other analysts and support new pricing constructs.
