Job summary

Scion Staffing is seeking a Bilingual Senior HR Generalist to support California operations in San Ramon. This full-time, onsite role handles full-cycle HR for about 75 employees, including employee relations, recruiting, payroll, benefits, workers’ compensation, compliance, and training.

The ideal candidate will work effectively with a blue-collar, hourly, field-based workforce and must be fluent in English and Spanish. The position offers a competitive salary and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Senior HR Generalist with ability to independently manage a broad range of HR functions.
• Strong knowledge of California employment laws, HR compliance, and employee relations.
• Bilingual English and Spanish communication required.
• Experience with payroll, benefits, workers’ compensation, and recruiting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary HR resource for employees and leadership, managing day-to-day HR operations independently.
• Advise on employee relations, performance management, investigations, corrective actions, and HR policies.
• Support workers’ compensation, workplace safety, compliance, and employee training initiatives.
• Manage recruiting, onboarding, and workforce needs for hourly and field-based employees.
• Oversee or support payroll, timekeeping, benefits, leave administration, and employee records.
• Partner with leadership to improve employee engagement, retention, training, and HR processes.
