Job summary

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Bilingual HR Manager for an established organization supporting its California operations. This is a full-time, direct-hire, onsite opportunity in San Ramon, CA.

The HR Manager will serve as the primary HR resource for the organization’s California operations, supporting approximately 75 employees, handling employee relations, recruiting, payroll, benefits, workers’ compensation, compliance, leave administration, and training.

Qualifications

• HR management experience supporting organizations with approximately 75-150+ employees.
• Strong understanding of California employment laws, compliance, and employee relations.
• Experience supporting a blue-collar, hourly, or field-based workforce, including workers’ compensation, payroll, benefits, and leave administration.
• Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills required, with strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Preferred experience with ADP Workforce Now and/or HR support within field, industrial, construction, manufacturing, or similar blue-collar environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees and leadership while independently managing day-to-day HR operations.
• Provide guidance on HR policies, employee relations, investigations, performance concerns, corrective actions, and workplace conflicts.
• Oversee workers’ compensation matters while supporting workplace safety, compliance, and employee training.
• Manage recruiting, onboarding, and workforce planning for hourly and field-based positions.
• Support payroll, timekeeping, benefits administration, FMLA and leave administration, and employee records.
• Support training and development initiatives while identifying opportunities to improve employee engagement, retention, and the overall workforce experience.
