Hiflylabs in Budapest, a 250+ employee tech company, delivers data warehouses, BI and analytics solutions worldwide. We seek a senior data/ Software Engineer to provide post-sales technical leadership for large-scale data projects, guiding architecture from design to deployment.

You will architect production workloads, optimize end-to-end pipelines, and help customers turn data into actionable business value while mentoring teams and sharing knowledge across global stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Software or Data Engineer with Spark workloads.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with cloud platforms AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional desirable.
• Experience with big data architectures: Hadoop, NoSQL, OLTP/OLAP.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership post-sales for big data projects.
• Architect production-level workloads and optimize end-to-end pipelines.
• Identify initiatives to turn data into business value.
• Deliver tutorials and training to promote community adoption.
