Job summary

Aristeo is seeking a talented Estimator to lead hard bids and negotiated proposals for manufacturing, power, and energy projects. You will review specs, prepare detailed estimates, and develop complete proposals to win work.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and the ability to work with suppliers, clients, and internal teams. Travel to sites may be required; a degree in civil/structural/CM and 7+ years estimating experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Eng or Construction Management preferred; PE is a plus.
• 7+ years estimating experience.
• Ability to prepare proposals with minimum supervision; strong cost estimation skills.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, drawings, attend pre-bid meetings to determine scope of work and estimate content.
• Prepare detailed estimates and backup documentation for review.
• Solicit project-specific proposals from material suppliers and evaluate for completeness and competitiveness.
• Develop options and recommend best value solutions based on cost, engineering, quality, or material availability.
• Establish and maintain relationships with owners, consultants, engineers, subs, and suppliers.
• Assist operations with awarded contracts, estimating changes and resolving contractual issues.
• Work with Proposal Coordinator to develop complete proposals including schedules, narratives, org charts.
• Develop conceptual proposals to support business development and client maintenance.
• Assist in maintaining the estimating productivity database.
