Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Senior BI Developer to transform complex business processes into scalable analytics. You will design automated workflows in Databricks, blend data from diverse sources, and create clear visualizations that drive decisions.

You’ll mentor junior teammates and lead project deliverables with minimal oversight. The role requires strong business acumen, collaboration with stakeholders, and fluency with modern BI platforms, Python, and AI-assisted tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field
• Minimum 5 years in business operations, data analytics, BI development, or process automation
• Minimum 2 years with a modern data/BI platform (e.g., Databricks, Power BI)
• Minimum 2 years partnering with business/functional teams to define requirements
• Minimum 1 year leading or serving as technical lead on a project or workstream

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to translate operational processes into technical requirements
• Contribute to process automation and data analytics projects using modern BI platforms
• Extract, cleanse, and blend data from internal and external sources
• Build and maintain automated workflows and pipelines in Databricks (SQL, PySpark, notebooks/jobs)
• Use AI coding assistants to accelerate development, testing, and documentation of BI tools
• Collaborate with DT and Data Science to expand solutions
• Create simple, direct, actionable visualizations that guide decisions
• Lead project deliverables and mentor junior team members
