Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Senior BI Developer in Denver to lead data analytics initiatives, automate reporting, and build scalable analytics solutions. You will translate business processes into technical requirements and mentor junior team members.

You will partner with stakeholders, develop pipelines in Databricks, and deliver clear visualizations to drive decisions, leveraging AI-enabled tools and collaboration with Data Science.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
• 5+ years in business operations, data analytics, BI development, or process automation.
• 2+ years with a modern data/BI platform (e.g., Databricks, Power BI).
• 2+ years partnering with business/functional teams to define requirements or improvements.
• 1+ year leading or serving as technical lead on a project or workstream.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to translate operational processes into technical requirements.
• Contribute to process automation and data analytics projects using modern BI platforms.
• Extract, cleanse, and blend data from internal and external sources.
• Build and maintain automated workflows and pipelines in Databricks (SQL, PySpark, notebooks/jobs).
• Use AI coding assistants to accelerate development, testing, and documentation of BI tools and automations.
• Partner with DT and Data Science to expand and sustain solutions.
• Create simple, direct, actionable visualizations that guide users to action.
• Lead project deliverables and deadlines with clear plans and status updates; mentor juniors.
