Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to design and deliver automated, scalable BI solutions that drive smarter decisions across operations. You’ll translate business processes into data requirements, build dashboards, and mentor junior engineers.

You will leverage Databricks, PySpark, and Power BI to automate workflows, blend data from diverse sources, and produce clear visuals that enable action. This role supports a fast-paced, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in business operations, data analytics, BI development, or process automation.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on with a modern data/BI platform (Databricks, Power BI).
• Minimum 2 years partnering with business/functional teams to define requirements or process improvements.
• Minimum 1 year leading or serving as technical lead on a project or workstream.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to translate operational processes into technical requirements.
• Contribute to process automation and data analytics projects using modern BI platforms.
• Extract, cleanse, and blend data from internal and external sources.
• Build and maintain automated workflows and pipelines in Databricks (SQL, PySpark, notebooks/jobs).
• Use AI coding assistants to accelerate development, testing, and documentation of BI tools and automations.
• Partner with DT and Data Science to expand and sustain solutions.
• Create simple, direct, and actionable visualizations that guide users to action.
• Lead project deliverables and deadlines with clear plans and status updates; mentor junior team members.
