Job summary

Samba, a media intelligence company, is seeking a Lead, Business Intelligence to drive reliable reporting and own the BI infrastructure. You will lead a global team of analysts and partner with Sales, Finance, and Operations to translate strategic questions into data solutions.

You’ll own Azure-based platforms (Synapse, Data Factory, Blob Storage), build scalable data pipelines, and deliver dashboards that inform executive decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in BI, data analytics, or data engineering.
• Strong SQL skills, including window functions and complex joins.
• Experience with Azure cloud services (Synapse, Data Factory, Blob Storage).
• Proficiency with Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Experience leading or mentoring analysts or engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain Azure-based BI infrastructure and data pipelines.
• Develop and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Lead, mentor, and coordinate a global BI team; manage data requests.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Product to translate questions into data solutions.
