Job summary

SambaSafety seeks a Senior BI Analyst to join the Enterprise Data Team and lead AI-augmented analytics initiatives. You will design dashboards, semantic layers, and AI-ready data foundations enabling trustworthy insights for business users and AI agents.

You will work with SQL, Python, and modern BI tools, ensuring data quality and governance while partnering with data engineering to deliver scalable insights across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years working in data-related roles, with BI processes experience.
• Expert-level SQL across RDBMS; Python for data analysis.
• Experience with Modern Data Stack: Snowflake, Power BI, Looker, ETL tools.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Copilot, ChatGPT).
• Familiarity with LLM-powered analytics and Semantic Views.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-augmented dashboards and analytics experiences using Power BI and Looker.
• Use AI-assisted tools daily to accelerate SQL development and dashboard creation.
• Prototype GenAI use cases to reduce manual reporting effort and generate insights.
• Collaborate with data engineering/science to productionize forecasting and anomaly detection.
• Write Python for advanced analysis and AI/automation tasks.
• Maintain OpenMetadata metadata and support semantic view design.
