Job summary

Wawona Frozen Foods seeks a Business Intelligence Analyst to lead the BI team and drive continuous improvement of our reporting architecture. You will work with the Director of IT to identify opportunities for enhanced decision-making and value creation.

You will architect and optimize the BI stack (Azure Databricks, ADLS Gen 2, Data Factory) and partner with stakeholders across the business to deliver impactful analytics solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or STEM.
• 5+ years in BI/Analytics, with 1–3 years in leadership.
• Advanced Power BI skills and strong SQL proficiency.
• Experience with Databricks, Business Central, and scripting languages (DAX, Python, or R).
• Proven project management and team leadership skills.
• Familiarity with accounting principles and cost accounting.
• Excellent presentation of complex data to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Architect and optimize the BI ecosystem (Azure Databricks, ADLS Gen 2, Data Factory, Power BI).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into analytics solutions.
• Lead development resources, timelines, and deliverables for BI projects.
• Own incident management, disaster recovery, and troubleshooting for BI systems.
• Build a centralized knowledge hub for KPIs, master data, and business terminology.
• Design dashboards, reports, and KPIs to drive strategic decisions.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and governance compliance.
• Partner with Accounting to align financial reporting with the general ledger.
