Job summary

Cooper Standard Automotive is seeking a senior techno-functional BI analyst to bridge business needs with technical BI solutions. The role focuses on reporting, data warehousing, and delivering robust BI solutions across multiple business areas including sales, purchasing, manufacturing and finance.

The ideal candidate will execute complex data queries, develop dashboards, and guide stakeholders from discovery through deployment, ensuring data accuracy and actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or IT-related field.
• 8–10 years in IT/BI/Data Warehouse roles; BI/Data Analyst background preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing/automotive environments is a plus.
• Proficiency with BI tools: Power BI, Tableau, QlikView; SAP Analytics Cloud is a plus.
• Strong data warehouse/datamart knowledge; ability to develop complex reports.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to understand goals, pain points and gaps.
• Translate business needs into clear functional specs and technical requirements.
• Drive end-to-end solutioning from discovery to delivery support.
• Lead or participate in projects, manage tasks, timelines and deliverables.
• Collaborate with DevOps, architects and IT to ensure solution alignment.
• Analyze processes, identify improvements and develop efficient solutions.
• Perform system testing and support implementation of BI solutions.
• Create technical and user documentation and train end users.
• Provide strategic input on IT initiatives and technology roadmap.
• Document lessons learned for future planning and execution.
• Lead rapid prototyping and iterative design for BI initiatives.
• Leverage AI tools for documentation and ideation.
