Job summary

Cooper Standard is seeking a senior techno-functional analyst to bridge business needs and technical BI solutions across sales, purchasing, manufacturing and finance. The role requires strong reporting, data querying, and end-to-end BI delivery experience in a collaborative, multi-stakeholder environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering or IT
• 8–10 years in IT/BI/Data Warehouse roles; BI Analyst or Data Analyst experience preferred
• Experience in manufacturing environment, automotive a plus
• Proficiency with BI tools: Power BI/Tableau/QlikView; SAP Analytics Cloud a big plus
• Exposure to SAP products including SAP BI tools
• Strong knowledge of data warehouse and data mart concepts
• Experience in creating ad hoc reports and complex data analysis in BI tools
• Experience with SharePoint and MS Office; end-user training experience
• Certifications CBAP/PMI-PBA preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business leaders to understand goals and map requirements
• Translate business needs into clear functional specs and technical requirements
• Drive end-to-end BI solutioning from discovery to delivery
• Execute complex queries and ad hoc BI reports for data validation
• Create and maintain documentation and training materials
• Support deployment and provide user training and knowledge transfer
• Lead or support rapid prototyping and iterative BI design
• Leverage AI tools for documentation and ideation
