Job summary

Plymouth Rock seeks an Senior Personal Lines Bodily Injury Claims Professional to lead complex BI claims across multiple states from our Boston area location. You will collaborate with internal teams, defense counsel, and vendors to build strategies and drive thoughtful resolutions.

The role emphasizes high-exposure claim management, negotiation, and leadership in a dynamic environment with comprehensive benefits and a strong focus on regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or in lieu of 5 years BI experience.
• 3–5 years of Personal Lines Bodily Injury claims experience, with complex liability handling preferred.
• Experience with UM/UIM, Excess, or Umbrella claims is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of litigation, arbitration, mediation, and trial procedures.

Responsibilities

• Complex Claim Investigation: conduct coverage, liability, and injury investigations and obtain statements.
• Coverage & Policy Analysis: analyze complex Personal Lines policies and coverage issues.
• Field & Vendor Management: direct field investigations and coordinate with vendors and counsel.
• Reserve & Financial Management: maintain accurate reserves and evaluate financial exposure.
• Litigation & Fraud Strategy: develop litigation strategies with defense counsel and SIU involvement.
• Negotiation & Resolution: resolve claims through merit-based negotiations with parties and attorneys.
• Arbitration, Mediation & Trial: represent Plymouth Rock in legal proceedings as needed.
• Technical Expertise & Leadership: stay current on industry developments and support team initiatives.
