Job summary

Plymouth Rock Assurance seeks an experienced Personal Lines Bodily Injury claims professional to manage complex BI claims, primarily in Massachusetts, with collaboration across defense counsel, vendors, and internal teams. Role focuses on coverage and liability investigations, policy analysis, reserve management, and strategic negotiation to achieve thoughtful resolutions.

Prior MA/NH claims experience and strong communication skills are essential for success in a dynamic, multi-state

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or in lieu of 5 years BI experience.
• 3–5 years Personal Lines Bodily Injury claims experience; complex liability preferred.
• Knowledge of litigation, arbitration, mediation, and trial procedures.
• Massachusetts and New Hampshire claims experience preferred; MA primary.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, communication and regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex BI claim investigations covering coverage and liability.
• Analyze complex Personal Lines policies, including Primary and Excess matters.
• Direct field investigations and coordinate with vendors and defense counsel.
• Maintain reserves and monitor financial exposure as claims evolve.
• Support litigation strategies and coordinate with SIU for potential fraud.
• Negotiate settlements and represent Plymouth Rock in arbitrations or trials.
