Job summary

Plymouth Rock Assurance Corporation in Boston, MA seeks a Senior Personal Lines Bodily Injury Claims Professional to lead complex BI claims across multiple states, partnering with defense counsel, vendors, and internal teams to craft strategy and timely resolutions.

You will manage coverage and liability investigations, reserve adequacy, and negotiations, while maintaining regulatory compliance and mentoring junior staff in a collaborative, growth‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years BI claims experience
• 3–5 years Personal Lines Bodily Injury claims experience
• Experience with UM/UIM, Excess, or Umbrella claims
• Experience handling claims in Massachusetts and New Hampshire

Responsibilities

• Complex Claim Investigation – Conduct coverage, liability, and injury investigations and evaluate facts for timely decisions
• Coverage & Policy Analysis – Analyze complex Personal Lines policies and coverage issues
• Field & Vendor Management – Direct field investigations and collaborate with Field, Counsel and vendors
• Reserve & Financial Management – Maintain accurate reserves and evaluate financial exposure
• Litigation & Fraud Strategy – Develop litigation strategies with defense counsel and SIU
• Negotiation & Resolution – Resolve claims through merit-based negotiations
• Arbitration, Mediation & Trial – Represent Plymouth Rock in various proceedings
• Technical Leadership – Stay current on industry developments and support team initiatives
