Job summary

MetLife seeks a data & analytics leader to advance BI and dashboard solutions across the enterprise. You will design KPIs, build dashboards in Cognos Analytics, QlikView and Power BI, and mentor teammates while collaborating with data engineers and stakeholders.

Location is Cary, NC in a hybrid role requiring three days in the office weekly. The position offers a strong salary, incentive opportunities, and comprehensive U.S. benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.
• 8 years delivering BI/dashboard solutions in data, analytics, ML, or BI.
• Master’s degree in CS/IT with 6 years of BI/dashboard experience also accepted.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business problems with engagement leads and data teams to define KPIs and wireframes.
• Develop and test Cognos Analytics, QlikView and Power BI scripts and ML models; write SQL queries.
• Mentor team members and promote reusable BI components; collaborate with data engineers.
• Optimize dashboards for performance and scalability; ensure data quality and governance.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
