Job summary

Proactive Global seeks a trusted client advisor to own complex, high-value baggage handling projects with autonomy across the full contract lifecycle in multiple US airport locations. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage RFIs through invoicing, and mentor Project Managers and junior staff.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of construction PM experience with ownership of complex, high-value scope.
• Direct delivery experience on baggage handling scope - CBIS/CBRA, outbound/inbound conveyor, sortation, make-up devices, EDS integration.
• Risk management: identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to protect timeline and budget.
• Testing & commissioning: plan and execute FAT, SAT, and integrated testing with OEMs; manage punch/acceptance with TSA/airline.
• Client advisory: trusted advisor to clients, not just executor of scope.
• Phasing in live operations: manage installation and cutover in operating terminals (night/off-peak work).
• Mentorship: develop junior PM talent.
• Controls & interfaces: knowledge of PLC/SCADA, BHS/BIDS, and airline interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Own complex projects generally $25M-$100M or multiple comparable scopes.
• Contract document ownership from RFIs to invoicing; primary contact for owner PM when not assigned higher.
• Quality assurance: verify deliverables meet standards and requirements.
• BHS delivery oversight: OEM coordination, long-lead procurement, factory milestones, testing, and cutover sequencing with airlines/TSA.
• Procurement & vendor contracts: oversee procurement, resourcing, and vendor agreements.
• Change management: document, justify, and control scope/schedule/budget changes.
• Client advisory & mentorship: lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor PMs/junior staff.
• Direct reports: 1+ employees.
• Growth & BD: pursue opportunities, achieve financial targets, and engage partners.
