Job summary

Arora Engineers, Inc. seeks a Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) Contract Manager to oversee on-site Dispatchers and BHS Control Room Operators at the airport. You will coordinate schedules, supervise staff, and generate reports while ensuring continuous, secure baggage operations seven days a week.

You will manage timesheets, invoices, and staff records, and may support the Consortium Manager with reports and trends. Strong leadership in a 24/7 environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years in a baggage/control-room operations role.
• Experience with dispatch, records, and staffing in a 24/7 environment.
• Familiarity with airport procedures and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise BHS operations staff schedules and activities.
• Oversee weekly timesheet collection and data entry into payroll systems.
• Compile monthly invoices with supporting reports.
• Maintain staff PTO and attendance records; adjust shifts as needed.
• Remain on-call for emergencies outside scheduled hours.
• Interview and screen new BHS operators/dispatch staff.
• Train operators and dispatch staff; ensure compliance with procedures.
• Lead shift coverage plans and coordinate call-outs and PTO data.
