Qualifications

• Electrical knowledge and training in BESS or related systems.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical schematics and manuals.
• Experience with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of BESS systems.
• Strong communication, organization and reporting skills.
• Willingness to work weekends and be on call.
• Prolonged periods of travel and remote site work.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on BESS systems.
• Replace/install hardware, inverters and monitoring equipment.
• Conduct electrical testing with appropriate PPE.
• Coordinate SOC balancing and performance tests with OEM/ROC/BOP.
• Identify OEM warranty repair needs and parts.
• Prepare reports to meet O&M contract deliverables.
• Uphold safety policies and participate in EHS/QEW programs.
• Attend manufacturer training and apply guidelines.
• Travel up to 30% overnight as needed.
