Job summary

CAMS Renewable Services LLC is hiring a BESS Senior Technician to oversee technicians performing preventative maintenance, troubleshoot BESS site systems, and execute electrical repairs. The role emphasizes BOP electrical knowledge and grid-scale BESS familiarity at a CAMS-managed site near Paris, TX.

The Sr. Technician will guide dispatched technicians in TX, maintain safety standards, and participate in EHS/QEW programs.

Qualifications

Certificate of training on EPC Power Conversion Systems.
Electrical knowledge/training experience of at least three years.
Ability to read and comprehend electrical and mechanical schematics, technical manuals, procedures, and regulations.
Experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting BESS systems preferred, but related applicable experience is acceptable.
Must have good organization, communication, analytical, planning, time management, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance of BESS systems and components.
Able to replace/install hardware, inverters, monitoring equipment and other components within the BESS site.
Perform electrical testing using appropriate PPE procedures.
Schedule State of Charge Balancing and performance testing with OEM/ROC/BOP.
Identify OEM warranty claims and manage spare parts as needed.
Prepare reports for O&M contracts deliverables.
Maintain safety in accordance with company policy.
