Job summary

Fluence is a global leader in energy storage seeking a BESS Field Resource Technician 3 to perform service operations, maintenance, and support for battery energy storage systems at sites within the region. The role requires on-site work, strong safety practices, and coordination with the RM and customers.

You will inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair BESS equipment, manage work orders and inventory, and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications

• HS Degree plus 4+ years in electrical or renewable energy industries.
• Ability to interpret schematics and single-line drawings.
• Willingness to travel up to 3 weeks at a time.
• Certifications (OSHA 10, NFPA 70E, CPR) or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on BESS equipment and related assets.
• Create, review and execute work orders and inventory reports.
• Assist RM with coordinating 3rd party vendors for O&M services.
• Maintain safety and quality across multiple sites.
