Job summary

AES Corporation is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer - Systems Integration to own how BESS subsystems come together in the field, ensuring safe, reliable operation across diverse project environments. You will lead end-to-end systems engineering for BESS products from requirements through deployment and operation.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in BESS or complex electromechanical system development and integration.
• Familiarity with BESS standards such as UL 9540 / 9540A and applicable electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end systems engineering for BESS products from requirements definition through deployment and operation.
• Review and approve BESS electrical and controls designs, including schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and integration documentation.
• Interpret and apply applicable BESS safety codes and standards (UL, IEC, NFPA, IFC, etc).
