Job summary

AES Corporation seeks a Senior Solutions Engineer - Systems Integration to lead end-to-end integration of BESS subsystems across diverse projects. You will define system-level requirements, assess interfaces, and ensure safe, reliable operation in field deployments.

The role requires 5–7 years in BESS or related electromechanical systems, strong electrical/controls expertise, and experience coordinating with multiple OEMs and teams. Some travel is needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering is required.
• 5–7 years' experience in BESS or complex electromechanical system development and integration.
• Strong experience with electrical systems, energy storage, controls, and power electronics.
• Familiarity with BESS standards such as UL 9540 / 9540A and applicable electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end systems engineering for BESS products from requirements definition through deployment and operation.
• Review and approve BESS electrical designs, schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and integration docs.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement of BESS integration practices.
