Job summary

The AES Corporation seeks a Senior Solutions Engineer - Systems Integration to own BESS subsystem integration in field environments, ensuring safe, reliable, and high-performing operation across diverse projects.

Responsibilities include leading end-to-end systems engineering, developing ICDs and specifications, and integrating energy storage, PCS, safety, controls, and communications with multiple OEMs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 5-7 years of experience in BESS or complex electromechanical systems development and integration.
• Familiarity with BESS standards such as UL 9540 / 9540A and electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end systems engineering for BESS products from requirements definition through deployment and operation.
• Develop system-level requirements, ICDs, specifications, and compliance matrices.
• Integrate subsystems including energy storage, PCS, safety, controls, and communications.
