K&L Gates is seeking a experienced Benefits Manager to lead U.S. health, welfare and retirement program management across multiple offices including Los Angeles, Austin, Boston, and more.

You will partner with HRIS, HR Operations and external brokers to deliver compliant, cost-effective benefits programs and drive annual enrollment and ongoing administration. The role requires deep knowledge of retirement plans, plan design, and vendor management, with the ability to interpret complex

Qualifications

• Progressive employee benefits experience, including U.S. health and welfare program management.
• Experience leading benefits implementations and annual enrollment cycles.
• Experience partnering with HRIS on eligibility requirements and data reconciliations.
• Experience with retirement audits, funding and regulatory filings.
• Strong analytical, project-management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage U.S. health and welfare programs from planning to implementation and ongoing administration.
• Lead annual U.S. Open Enrollment and related cross-functional projects.
• Coordinate with Communications on employee-facing materials and disclosures.
• Provide oversight across defined contribution, pension and retirement arrangements.
• Lead vendor and broker relationships and ensure service delivery and compliance.
