Job summary

LHH is seeking an experienced Benefits Manager to lead benefits operations for a multi-state workforce. You will design, administer, and continuously improve employee benefit programs while delivering a positive employee experience across communities.

You will oversee open enrollment, coordinate with brokers, and manage plan renewals to balance cost with quality. Staying compliant with federal and state regulations is essential, as is communicating options clearly to employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field.
• 5+ years of benefits administration experience across multi-state workforce.
• Strong knowledge of benefits regulations and compliance.
• Experience with HRIS and benefits platforms (ADP, Workday, Dayforce).
• SHRM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all employee benefit programs across medical, dental, vision, retirement, wellness, and voluntary benefits.
• Oversee open enrollment planning and execution, including communications and vendor coordination.
• Collaborate with brokers and consultants to evaluate plan design and manage renewals.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance.
• Deliver clear employee communications regarding benefit options and enrollment.
• Serve as SME for benefits policies and eligibility rules.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Coordinate benefits audits and support reviews.
