Job summary

OneDigital is seeking a Senior Benefits Consultant to retain clients and manage a book of business with strategic focus on benefit design, renewals, and performance analysis.

The role requires driving open enrollment, RFP processes, and client service excellence. A license in life/health insurance and 7+ years of experience are essential, with strong Excel and data capabilities to support client outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of benefits consulting experience.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Knowledge of Health Care Reform and health and ancillary insurance products.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with database applications.
• Valid life and health insurance license required.
• Up-to-date on HIPAA, ERISA, Tax Code, PPACA and related laws.

Responsibilities

• Develops sophisticated benefit design and renewal strategies addressing complex client issues.
• Collaborates with account management/client service on pre-renewal strategy, RFPs, SPRs, open enrollment planning.
• Determines full scope of services to provide to client and communicates timelines clearly.
• Maintains accountability for revenue and profitability of client accounts and projects.
• Monitors project scope, budget, timeliness and client satisfaction.
• Oversees onboarding of new clients with implementation plan and timelines.
