Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in HR or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in retirement or health & welfare benefits.
• Strong understanding of health & welfare and retirement plans and related regulations.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with HRIS and benefits systems.
• Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Proactive mindset focused on process improvement and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day administration of medical, dental, vision, life, leave, disability, retirement and wellness programs.
• Contribute to annual open enrollment, plan renewals, and employee communications.
• Analyze benefits data and develop dashboards and reports for HR, Finance, and leadership.
• Track vendor performance, service metrics, and contractual obligations.
• Ensure ongoing regulatory compliance (ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA, IRS, DOL, etc.).
• Assist with audits, regulatory filings, and updates to plan documents.
• Maintain and enhance internal processes and SOPs.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve data accuracy.
• Respond to employee benefit inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
• Partner with HRIS, Payroll, and vendors to ensure clean data and integrations.
• Support cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
