Job summary

Baylor Genetics in Houston, TX seeks a Sr. Benefits Analyst to lead day-to-day administration and continuous improvement of employee benefits and leave programs.

You will collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, Legal, carriers, and vendors to ensure accurate eligibility, enrollment, and data integrity. Responsibilities include annual enrollment support, data reconciliation, and regulatory compliance, while maintaining confidentiality and delivering clear employee guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field required.
• At least 5 years of benefits/leave HR ops experience.
• Experience administering eligibility, enrollment, inquiries, and vendor coordination.
• Excel proficiency and ability to reconcile data related to benefits and payroll.
• Ability to handle confidential information and communicate complex benefits clearly.

Responsibilities

• Administer benefits and leave programs, including eligibility and enrollment.
• Reconcile enrollment, payroll deduction, invoices, and vendor data.
• Coordinate with carriers, brokers, and vendors to resolve issues.
• Respond to employee benefit questions with clear guidance.
• Support annual enrollment and plan changes with data prep and communication.
• Maintain benefit data, documentation, and reports for audit readiness.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and external vendors on compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support team objectives.
• Comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
