Qualifications

• 3–5 years of benefits administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA and FMLA.
• Experience managing open enrollment with carriers and brokers.
• Proficiency with HRIS and benefits platforms, plus Excel.
• Excellent communication and ability to explain benefits clearly.
• Discretion with confidential information.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or related field preferred.
• CEBS, SHRM-CP or PHR certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer health, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) and other programs.
• Lead annual open enrollment planning, communications and updates.
• Serve as the primary benefits contact for questions and escalations.
• Partner with carriers, brokers and third parties to resolve issues.
• Process enrollments, qualifying life events, terminations and COBRA.
• Reconcile monthly benefits invoices and payroll deductions.
• Ensure ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA compliance.
• Support leave of absence administration with payroll/HR.
• Assist with renewals, plan analysis and non-discrimination testing.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and benefits experience.
