Job summary

Dutch Bros Coffee is seeking a Senior Benefits Specialist to act as the Benefits Subject Matter Expert, overseeing administration, compliance, and improvements of employee benefits and retirement programs. You will manage Workday Benefits, ACA reporting, COBRA, and 401(k) operations while ensuring an exceptional employee experience.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business, Human Resources, Administration, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years in benefits administration
• Experience managing employee benefits and 401(k) operations
• Knowledge of ERISA, IRS, DOL, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, FMLA and leave requirements
• Experience with PTO, payroll coordination, benefits reconciliation, vendor management, HRIS

Responsibilities

• Lead benefits operations with independent, high-impact ownership.
• Ensure ACA compliance and reporting, COBRA administration, and 401(k) plan operations.
• Coordinate benefit and retirement plan administration and employee communications.
• Support vendor performance and process improvements.
• Implement regulatory updates and maintain accurate records and audits.
• Collaborate with Health and Welfare Director and Legal on projects and enrollment.
