The Jonus Group is seeking a Senior Employee Benefits Analyst to join a professional team focused on providing employee benefits solutions to large clients across the country. This remote role requires extensive expertise in unbundled self-insured plans and stop-loss insurance, with advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities include negotiating with carriers, preparing renewal analyses and cost projections, and ensuring client compliance. Some travel for onsite visits will be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in employee benefits.
• Experience with unbundled self-insured plans and stop-loss insurance.
• Experience with large employee benefits accounts (average 4,000 employees).

Responsabilités

• Market stop-loss, administration, life, disability, and other employee benefit plans.
• Evaluate and negotiate offers with insurance carriers and vendors.
• Prepare pre-renewal, renewal, and post-renewal analyses with executive summaries.
• Develop budget rates and contribution strategies.
• Prepare future cost projections and monthly experience reports.
• Use actuarial tools to identify health plan cost drivers and model plan changes.
• Manage compliance for clients and conduct audits and reviews for prospects.
• Confirm final plan selections with carriers.
• Support other analysts by peer-reviewing their work.
• Attend client or prospect meetings as needed.
