Job summary

The Jonus Group is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Advisor in a hybrid role. The successful candidate will advise business leaders, generate new business, and nurture long-term client partnerships within mid-to-large accounts.

Ideal candidates have a proven track record in employee benefits sales, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to grow their own book of business. Travel for outside sales is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in Employee Benefits sales, mid-to-large accounts (50-500 lives).
• Experience building and managing a book of business.
• Licenses: General Lines - Life, Accident & Health & HMO (Texas) or ability to obtain soon after hire.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with clients, business leaders, and decision-makers.
• Identify, pursue and close new Employee Benefits opportunities.
• Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline to convert prospects into long-term clients.
• Service and grow an existing book of business, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
• Evaluate client needs and propose tailored Employee Benefits solutions.
• Present customized benefits strategies as a trusted advisor.
