Job summary

Holland America Line Inc. seeks a Senior Benefits Analyst to manage the ADA interactive process and all leave programs for shoreside North American employees. You will serve as the subject matter expert on ADA accommodations, FMLA, PWFA, and state/local leave laws and policies.

You will partner with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Legal, and the leave administrator to ensure timely, compliant case management and accurate communications. A strong benefits administration background is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and 5–7 years of experience in leave/ADA administration.
• 5+ years of experience in benefits, leave administration, and/or ADA accommodation management, preferably direct ADA interactive process experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage ADA interactive process and all leave programs for shoreside North American employees.
• Review medical documentation and assess reasonable accommodations.
• Provide written communications on accommodation and leave decisions in compliance with laws.
• Coordinate with Payroll and third-party administrators for accurate leave dates and pay.
• Educate and advise employees, managers, and HR Partners on leave and accommodation options.
