Job summary

Marsh is seeking a Senior Medical Consultant II - Behavioral Health Clinician to provide expert insights on complex Medicaid/CHIP programs. The role supports government health consulting with project leadership across teams, ensuring on-time, within-scope deliverables and client satisfaction.

This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring three days in the office, with remote requests handled case-by-case.

Qualifications

• Master's, professional, or doctoral degree in behavioral health (licensure eligible)
• 5+ years of relevant experience in behavioral health consulting
• Knowledge of Medicaid policies, regulations, and program operations
• Experience in Medicaid, Medicaid managed care, or related behavioral health programs
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to manage and mentor staff

Responsibilities

• Provide project and team leadership with ownership over time
• Lead client deliverables, presentations, and documentation
• Translate regulatory requirements into program changes and reporting
• Serve as a behavioral health SME on diverse projects
• Coordinate with client managers to develop new business and proposals
• Identify staffing resources and guide team development
• Stay current on market trends and regulatory changes
• Deliver accurate, timely analysis and client-focused recommendations
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback for program recommendations
• Ensure timely, quality client deliverables and communications
• Develop tools and processes for multiple clients
• Support team growth and collaboration with vendors
