Job summary

Marsh is seeking a Senior Medical Consultant II – Behavioral Health Clinician to join the Government Health Consulting team. You will provide leadership on complex Medicaid/CHIP projects, focusing on behavioral health programs, with opportunities to influence strategy, design, and performance reporting across managed care and fee-for-service models.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, mentor junior staff, and contribute to proposals while staying aligned with client priorities and regulatory

Qualifications

• Master’s, professional, or doctoral degree in a behavioral health discipline with license eligibility.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Medicaid or behavioral health programs.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide project leadership and thought leadership on complex behavioral health projects.
• Lead and contribute to client deliverables, proposals, and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate regulations into program changes.
• Serve as subject matter expert in behavioral health programs across managed care and fee-for-service.
• Coordinate teams to stay within budget, schedule, and scope, with client communication.
• Develop new business opportunities with client managers and leadership.
