Job summary

MSD in the United States is seeking a Senior Territory Representative to lead sales, market development, and growth across Eastern North Dakota, Northwest Minnesota, and Northeast South Dakota. You will develop territory plans, build relationships with veterinarians and producers, analyze market trends, and collaborate with field teams to expand our Animal Health portfolio.

This role requires travel up to 50% and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

Five (5) years of relevant sales or territory management experience with a bachelor's degree.
Ten (10) years of relevant sales, livestock production, animal health, agricultural, or territory management experience without a bachelor’s degree.
Knowledge of the beef and dairy industries, including Cow/Calf, Feedlot, and Dairy production systems.
Ability to travel 50% across the territory.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute territory business plans to drive sales growth and market share.
Build relationships with veterinarians, producers, distribution partners, nutritionists, and influencers.
Identify opportunities, market dynamics, and competitive threats to capitalize on growth.
Drive demand generation and product utilization through customer engagement and field events.
Collaborate with distribution teams and internal stakeholders to align objectives.
