GenScript USA Inc./ProBio Inc. in the Bay Area is seeking a Sr. Business Development Manager to drive sales growth for CGT CDMO services, with a focus on Plasmid DNA, AAV, LVV, and related process development and GMP manufacturing.

You will build strategic customer relationships across biotech, pharma, and academia and translate technical capabilities into new opportunities. The role requires 3+ years in biotech business development, strong consultative selling, and the ability to manage complex

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Life Sciences or related field.
• Over 3 years of Business Development or commercial experience within biotech, pharma, CRO, or CDMO industries.
• Experience in Cell & Gene Therapy, viral vectors, plasmid DNA, biologics, or advanced therapies strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success in consultative technical sales and complex opportunity management.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic territory growth plan for Cell & Gene Therapy CDMO services.
• Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across biotech, pharma, and academia.
• Build trusted relationships with scientific, technical, and executive stakeholders.
• Provide consultative recommendations for Plasmid DNA, AAV, LVV, Process Development, Analytical Development, and GMP Manufacturing.
• Lead commercial discussions with SMEs, Technical Account Managers, and Operations teams.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate agreements, and support contract execution.
• Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast while achieving territory objectives.
• Monitor customer pipelines, funding activity, industry trends, and competitive intelligence.
• Represent ProBio at conferences and partnering events.
• Share market intelligence with Commercial, Marketing, and Leadership teams.
