Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Principal, Business Development for the Weather & Defense Ground Product Line to drive enterprise campaigns across Civil, Commercial, and Defense customers. You will partner with senior leadership to identify opportunities, develop campaigns, and shape win strategies in NOAA/NASA weather and environmental domains.

The role requires extensive government BD experience, ability to influence across organizations, and willingness to travel up to 30% while pursuing

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and at least 12 years of related experience; graduate degree preferred with 10+ years experience; or 16+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
8+ years of experience engaging with senior executives at government agencies and primes.
Experience with NOAA, NASA HQ & Goddard Spaceflight Center customers in Weather/Environmental missions.

Responsibilities

Lead Spectral Solutions initiatives with new business growth areas.
Serve as liaison to segment growth initiatives representing Spectral Solutions interests.
Develop segment campaigns for opportunity generation and pursue revenue growth.
Prioritize campaign engagements with senior management participation and guidance.
Support collection of competitive intelligence and government budget data for strategic decisions.
Collaborate with BD team, marketing, capture teams on campaigns and win strategies.
Travel up to 30% to meet customers and support business needs.
Assist capture teams with competitive assessments and win strategy development.
