Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Principal, Business Development to drive growth in the Washington, DC, or Camden, NJ areas. You will lead capture efforts for DoD Navy programs, focusing on unmanned undersea vehicles and submarine communications, while coordinating with DoW and defense customers.

Responsibilities include developing growth strategies, shaping opportunities, and presenting business cases to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 12+ years of related experience; 10+ years with graduate degree; 16 years in lieu of degree.
• Active US Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Military experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Develop growth strategies to increase orders and bookings.
• Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers.
• Lead capture activities across the full BD lifecycle, including opportunity identification and proposal development.
• Provide market intelligence and competitive assessments for strategic planning.
• Prepare opportunity reviews and business cases for senior leadership.
