Job summary

Nextpower is seeking a Sr. Manager - Business Development to lead the commercial strategy and market expansion for its robotics solar inspection systems and AI-powered fire/smoke detection cameras for utility-scale solar assets.

You will drive sales growth, manage strategic customer relationships, and strengthen Nextpower's leadership position in the solar market. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in the solar industry, a strong IPP/EPC/O&M network, and a proven track record of exceeding

Qualifications

5-10 years of experience in the solar industry with at least 3 years in B2B sales to IPPs, EPCs, OEMs and O&M providers.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Technical knowledge of utility-scale solar operations and performance challenges in the DC field.
Excellent communication, presentation, and executive-level relationship skills.
Preferred experience with thermal and computer vision inspection systems.
Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.

Responsibilities

Drive new business opportunities for Nextpower's robotics and services across North America.
Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure.
Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow revenue and market share.
Collaborate with global teams to quantify value proposition and prepare localized sales & marketing collateral.
