Nextpower in Fremont, CA is seeking a Manager - Business Development to drive commercial strategy and market expansion for robotic solar inspection systems and AI-powered fire/smoke detection cameras across North America. You will lead the sales cycle, build strategic accounts, and help grow revenue in the utility-scale solar segment.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in solar, 3+ years B2B sales to IPPs/EPCs/O&M, strong negotiation and relationship skills, and familiarity with Salesforce.

Qualifications

12+ years in the solar industry
3+ years of B2B sales to IPPs/EPCs/O&M providers
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
Experience with thermal and computer vision inspection systems (preferred)
Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools

Responsibilities

Drive new business opportunities across North America for Nextpower’s robotics and services
Lead all aspects of the sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and closure
Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximize revenue and market share
Collaborate with global account management to identify value-add opportunities via robotics and services
