Genezen is seeking a senior business development professional to partner with the Commercial team to advance our CDMO client base in gene and cell therapy. You will identify, engage, and secure new clients, coordinate visits, proposals, and negotiations, while aligning with regulatory and manufacturing know-how.
The role requires deep market understanding, strong leadership, and ability to influence without direct reporting authority.
Competenze
- 8+ years of sales/relationship experience in biopharma or CDMO settings.
- Experience with CRM software.
- Biologics experience with gene and cell therapies.
- Ability to negotiate long-term commercial contracts.
Mansioni
- Implement and execute the overall business development strategy and sales process.
- Identify and engage with new prospective CDMO clients.
- Generate leads, contact decision-makers, and qualify opportunities.
- Lead customers through the sales process (calls, RFPs, quotes, visits).
- Own proposal development including inputs from science and operations teams.
- Negotiate sale agreements and achieve sales objectives.
- Document pipeline in CRM and provide forecasting data.
- Contribute to marketing initiatives and attend trade shows.
