Job summary
Lucid Motors is seeking a Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer for Powertrain Batteries to lead supplier readiness from concept through mass production. You will partner with suppliers and cross-functional teams to translate engineering requirements into scalable, repeatable processes and drive qualification, launch, and continuous improvement.
The role emphasizes hands-on supplier development, high-voltage battery manufacturing knowledge, and collaboration across Battery Engineering,
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline required.
- 4+ years in automotive manufacturing or supplier quality.
- Experience with battery cells/modules/pack development.
- Experience leading APQP/PPAP and supplier process audits.
- Familiarity with PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA and capability studies.
Responsibilities
- Lead manufacturing-readiness assessments from concept to production launch.
- Develop and qualify processes for battery components with focus on scalability and quality.
- Lead APQP/PPAP activities and approve Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plans and MSA.
- Own supplier industrialization deliverables across prototypes, trials and ramp-up.
- Collaborate with Battery Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to align requirements and launch priorities.
- Identify risks early and implement data-driven mitigation and corrective actions.
