Job summary
Lucid Motors is seeking a Staff Supplier Industrialization Engineer, Electronics to lead supplier readiness for critical electronic components and assemblies. This role owns supplier industrialization for ECUs, PCBAs, TLAs, sensors, modules, and related electrical systems from sourcing through production.
The ideal candidate has 8+ years in automotive electronics manufacturing and strong leadership, with deep APQP/PPAP experience and a track record of resolving launch issues in fast-paced
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field; master’s preferred.
- 8+ years in automotive electronics manufacturing or related leadership roles.
- Hands-on with ECUs, PCBAs, TLAs, sensors, or electronic modules.
- Strong APQP, PPAP/LQP, safe launch, run-at-rate, PFMEA, and control plans.
- Knowledge of SMT/PCBA manufacturing, solder quality, AOI, and validation.
Responsibilities
- Lead supplier readiness for electronics components from sourcing to launch.
- Drive APQP, LQP/PPAP, risk assessments, controls, testing, and capacity readiness.
- Partner across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics, and suppliers.
- Review PFMEAs, control plans, test strategies, and launch deliverables.
- Lead supplier audits, containment, root-cause analysis, and CAPA.
- Travel up to 20–30% for supplier and launch support.
