Lucid Motors in California is seeking a Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer to lead battery management software development for real-time embedded systems. You will architect high‑quality BMS solutions and own core features.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, implement state machines and diagnostics, and ensure reliability across multicore safety-critical software. Strong C skills and automotive experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field(s) required.
• 5+ years of embedded software development experience including architecture, design, coding, testing, and release.
• 3+ years of experience using C (required) and/or Python.
• 2+ years of experience with schematics and peripheral interfaces.
• Experience in multi-core development for safety-critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design sophisticated software architecture for battery management.
• Develop high-performance real-time embedded software with reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance battery management and energy intelligence features.
• Design, develop, and own mission-critical features such as state machines and diagnostics.
• Provide versatile support to the department as needed.
